  1. Customrugsgalore – Property

    May 13, 2012 by carmen

    A New You!

Picture the scene. You’re sat there on your couch on an average Sunday morning. The cat is snuggled up next to you, the newspapers are arranged around you in a deliciously relaxed, open swirl.

You might have a pot of coffee brewing its delicious smells across your house, while your husband is out fixing up the garden, or finally getting around to mending that sloping shelf. In a word… bliss! Then the thought strikes you.

The room is looking a bit tired.

There’s not a great deal going on in the room. There’s still that red wine spill on the floor by the corner table. The carpet is matted a little by the runner, where the cat likes to stretch out and scratch.

(Seriously Leopold, you’re awesome, but this has got to stop.) You look around at the walls and they look okay still (a few marks here and there, but nothing a bit of soap and water wouldn’t fix.) And the furniture too, that’s all looking alright with the exception of the claw marks on the dresser. (That’s Leopold again!) All in all, the things themselves are okay — but somehow your room is lacking… something… Here’s where custom rugs come in!

  2. Belly Ache – Why? |

    April 10, 2012 by carmen

Posted on September 6, 2010 by Janet Stomach pain comes in so many shapes and sizes what is the cause of your tummy ache?

Burning in the stomach: Hmm, I have a feeling you may have been snacking on something you shouldnt. Maybe a Mexican meal of chips with tomato, onion and chili pepper salsa? Whether you experience this burning pain at the top or the bottom of your stomach, most folk claim to have an acid stomach.

In fact, the reverse if probably true burning pains in the stomach are usually caused by insufficient acid. This means that food does not move quickly enough out of your stomach and onto the next stage of digestion the small intestine. So, why does this cause burning stomach pain? Because the food is sitting in your stomach for too long along with the acid which causes burning and irritation.

Burping: It was my grandfathers daily ritual to produce (with some pride) an earth-tremor of a belch at the end of each meal, declaring this to be a sign of his wifes good cooking and his own fearsome digestive system.

Unfortunately, it wasnt quite as fearsome as he may have thought he passed away in his 70s his gallbladder calling it quits (and medical science not having quite the same knowledge it does today). Burping is caused by gas trapped in the stomach. This creates pressure and burping or belching is your bodys way of attempting to relieve this.

What causes this type of stomach ache? Mostly poor food combinations, insufficient stomach acid, eating too much and eating too quickly. Bloating: If you feel like your stomach is a hard ball, youre probably bloated. Bloating can have many causes.

  4. Restoring Vintage Cars Can Be A Rewarding Hobby

    March 31, 2012 by carmen

Would you love visiting vintage car shows all over the country, checking out the classic cars that have been restored? The old cars have been virtually brought back to life and if the owners did the restoration themselves, they have reason to be doubly proud. You will find there’s a significant difference between a car restoration and having a vehicle simply rebuilt.

Someone rebuilding an automobile will use any parts that do the job, whereas a completely restored car will include only parts that are completely original or as close as possible. Restoring a car to its authentic condition brings about a much higher price. This kind of restoration is a trip in time, back to the period when the vehicle was still new. A faithfully restored vintage car is a thing of beauty that could be years in the making. Every single part, even the ones that you can’t see, must be original, and the sourcing of these parts can be time consuming.

The restoration process is extensive and involves taking the car apart completely, and then cleaning all of the original parts and finding a replacement or effecting a repair where it’s required, and then reconstructing it all. The vehicle won’t keep its original value unless authentic parts are used, while generally the engine needs to be rebuilt. If you want to restore a vintage car you can’t do it properly without a historically solid and comprehensive understanding of cars. Expertise of both mechanical and body work is needed, without which you will be unable to restore a car to its original condition. You will also need to repair or restore the interior, which means upholstery work.

You won’t be able to get original seats as alternatives if you’re restoring a 1955 Chevy, nevertheless, you can get them recovered to match the originals. A collector of vintage cars will not tolerate replica parts; only careful restoration to the original condition will be justification for a high value. To achieve this desire, you’re going to have to search painstakingly for parts, especially paint. To compete in this sphere, you must have enough patience, a place for working, and funds for buying the parts. You can give a car a new lease on life if you take it from the junkyard and fix it up until it looks like new.

Restoring a vintage car is something that requires plenty of enthusiasm because it will take some time and patience. If you’re talented at restoring cars, they can be sold for quite a return–if you are willing to part with them. Sometimes it’s tough to say goodbye when you have poured a great deal of yourself into them. But it can be a very rewarding, and even profitable, hobby.Learn more about audi wheels.
